For your comfort

We usually launch in the center of farmlands that are wide open to the sun with virtually no shade. These fields are also usually about 15 minutes or more of driving distance from any facilities, stores or restaurants.

It is therefore important to think of a few things you won't want to be without, especially if you're flying...

Table (especially if you're flying) and chairs.
Sun shade, suntan lotion, sunglasses, hat, umbrella and bug spray
Work shoes or boots (presence of mud in the drainage trenches is highly possible)
Garbage bags and tarps to cover rockets in case of sudden rain
Drinks and snacks

there should be a portable toilet on-site, but please check with the club's board to confirm for each event.

Launch Hardware

The club will provide a series of various launch platforms at the event, controlled by either a wired or wireless console. Members are encouraged to bring their own ramps and consoles if they wish to share. Every piece of hardware must be verified by our RSO before being deployed on the field.
